Looking for foster home or adopter! 4 yr old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, medium size, can't live with other pets, located in Huntington NY (Long Island).
Smart...goofy...affectionate...loyal...happy...playful...beautiful...active...cuddly... Tring to describe Lydia in one word is impossible.
From her temporary foster mom:
This sweet young lady is all of the above and more. The most amazing quality about Lydia is her happy-go-lucky attitude. In spite of the fact that more than half her life has been in a cage (1.5 years in a shelter and 1.5 years in boarding) she looks at life through rose-colored glasses. She is my latest foster dog, and I have never had a dog who "smiles" as much as she does. She never complains, even though she has to be crated much of the day due to the fact I have other dogs. When she is out, she wants nothing more than to romp around and play or lay on her back and get her belly rubbed. She is an angel to walk on leash and would love an owner who will take her on regular walks or even better, use her for a jogging partner. Lydia has also proven herself to be quite the smarty pants. She knows sit, leave it, and come. She is eager to learn more and picks up new skills quickly. We are working on place, stay, wait, and down. Any family would be lucky to have her as a single dog in their household.
