Strut Your Mutt was an fundraiser any dog lover would have loved. Upon my arrival first thing Sunday morning to the windy West Side, there were dogs walking as far as the eye could see. Hundreds of pups came out with their people to strut their stuff in the name of homeless animals. Our team - Bully Breed Rescue - even brought along some adoptable dogs for the events!

Not only was the 2-mile walk along the water a lovely experience, but the Finish line was where the real party started! Pawprint painting...Kissing contests (with my favorite New Jersey Housewife: CAROLINE Manzo!)...Grooming tips from celebrity dog stylist Jorge Bendersky (Groomer Has It, Extreme Poodles)...Dozens of rescue groups, including my new friends the Pet Adoption League of NY... and more! Everyone who was in attendance was there for the same reason: We All Love Dogs!

Would you believe Best Friends Animal Society raised $130,000 from Sunday's events, and from rescue groups who raised money to participate. Next year, we're hoping FosterDogsNYC will have our own team! Who's with me?
